We all need coaching especially in the sport of rowing where the physical and mental attributes of the Rowers has to be blended from individuals through to formation of crews and squads.

Every decade our boat speeds in races at international level increase by roughly 10 seconds, this speed increase is reflected in Club Crews as well.

The Auckland Rowing Club has a very proud history of being able to have our rowers represent New Zealand on the world stage.

The demand for quality coaching now requires that The Club has professional coaches to look after the training and development of our Rowers.

The Club has embarked on pursuing to be The Club of excellence in the Auckland area and we need to be able to reward and pay our coaches for their time and expertise.
