New Coaching Boats & Coxswain Equipment

What they do for the club

Coaches put in a lot of effort to help crews to perform for The Club.

Leaky coaching boats, motors which will not start are the last thing which our coaches deserve, after-all they aren't mechanics.

A coaching boat is also a rescue vessel should an unfortunate incident incident happen, a rower feeling unwell through to a capsize or collision.

The cost of a coaching boat set up with safety equipment would be in the region of $15k each.

All our coaching boats need to have the most up-to-date safety rescue equipment on boat, from life vests, to bouyancy devices, all which are expensive pieces of equipment.

Coxswains need to be safe and warm when they are in one of The Clubs boats. Warm and waterproof clothes and life vests are expensive kit along with their cox-boxes. They too deserve the best of which The Club are able to provide.
